thinking along the lines of...
...turquoise. It's fall, but it's fun to look back on some of the fun, summer dresses I've made. One of my favorites is...
I was inspired to make this from a photo in a women's clothing catalog. My creations rarely end up looking exactly like the original inspiration because I begin adding my own touches and tweaks.

Pretty Pink Princess
I love costumes. They are so much fun! I had a whole chest of them when I was younger and I loved going through it and creating fancy outfits for myself. A while ago, I had the pleasure of creating a lovely pink princess outfit for a client...
I really like the rich, vivid colors! I also created a yellow one that I will have to share in the not so distant future. :-)

Red Dress
I recently completed a red corduroy dress for a customer. Can you believe that my fabric store did not have a scrap of the fabric I needed in stock? It wasn't hard to track some down though, and I think the dress turned out lovely...
To make the dress, I based it off of an outfit from the Wooden Soldier...
