Harriet's Yellow Dress

I have said it before and I will say it again...I am at my happiest when I am creating doll clothes from the American Girl book illustrations. For me, it is so much more interesting to make something completely fresh and from scratch.

The latest dress from "off the page" is Harriet's yellow dress. A member on AGPT commissioned me to make it for her and I was more than happy to take it on.

Here is the picture from "Addy Saves the Day" that I used...

...and here is the result...

  3. That is just beautiful! My English teacher said yellow was an very irritating colour, but this dress is just divine. I love all the lace details.
